Pan American Plant Medicine

“Anywhere there’s a crack of dirt in the sidewalk, a medicinal plant will grow.” – Rosita Arvigo.

Dr. Rosita Arvigo, who spent over three decades in Central America, shares much of the wisdom she has learned from traditional healers, studies with ethnobotanists, anthropologists, and herbalists on Western herbs and rainforest based botanical (plant) medicine. This lecture offers insight on medicinal plants that grow from Alaska to South America. Dr. Rosita Arvigo brings a wealth of information on common uses for house hold herbs to rainforest remedies that stem from her life work and passion saving plants that heal people.

Dr. Rosita Arvigo translates her knowledge in layperson’s language, accompanied by photos, incredible stories, heart felt concerns for the future of traditional medicine, and, most importantly, hope for inspiring a new generation of healers, herbalists, and healthy humans.

$40/Person - Dr. Rosita Arvigo books will be available for purchase at the event.
